The 4-courser sandwich has smoked pulled pork with a gouda béchamel sauce, pickles, jalapeño chips, sweet potato chips with BBQ sauce and a waffle-ized macaroni and cheese, all between a smoked pretzel bun. Watched an episode of Adam Richman’s “Best Sandwich,” where 3 sandwiches from the Gulf Coast were contenders: 2 Tampa sandwiches (a Cuban and a grouper sandwich) and a New Orleans “po boy.” He chose the po boy, so I tweeted:
“Why you gotta diss my hometown twice in 1 episode of Best Sandwich?…
About an hour later, I got this as a reply:
Wow. Just a little rude, don’t you think, Mr. Richman? I’m just a girl expressing my opinion on my personal Twitter account…no need to be grouchy! And, of course, I cannot reply to the direct message because he doesn’t follow me. Dang it, Twitter…
Two things… if you mention him in your tweet you’re not really expressing your opinion on your personal account… you’re directing your comment at him specifically.”
And secondly, I didn’t see his DM as grouchy. He was just commenting back about how he wasn’t dissing any towns, just saying which sandwich he preferred most.
Doesn’t look rude or grouchy to me. (and no I’m not just saying that cause of my username).
Anyone else see his DM as grouchy or rude?
